Terrariums are great deco items and need very little care. They self-survive very well in the enclosed containers. You hardly need to water them. So far, those in my home have not been watered for many months and they are growing well. Just trim a little if they have overgrown. Just give them plenty of natural light or place them in an environment with flourescent lightings. Note that there should be NO direct sunlight. Apart from being perfect for indoors - homes, offices, showrooms, etc, they make good companions and act as beautiful display deco at any venue.
No worries even if you are going on long trips or have a busy work schedule as they thrive to survive independently. My collection of pretty seashells from shores are added to beautify the natural landscape.
Great as gifts for all occasions and ages. While making terrariums for kids, small plastic animals can be added into the bottles. This cultivates good habits on being responsible and creates the love for nature for the child.
